Find out how your child learns

A cognitive skills assessment that shows your child’s strengths and the learning abilities that need support, explained in plain English.

Who is the assessment for?

Any child or teenager aged 6–18 whose learning puzzles you or their teachers

The assessment uses the Structure of Intellect (SOI) approach to look at many separate learning abilities, not a single score. What is SOI?

  • Works hard but results don’t match the effort.
  • Struggles in several subjects, not just one.
  • Is bright but uneven, or under-challenged.
  • Has had tutoring that didn’t solve the problem.
  • You simply want to understand how they learn.

Do we have to sign up for a programme?

Yes. To get started, we will send you a short form to fill in with some details about your child, so we can prepare for the assessment.
