Is your child bored at school?

Bright children often have uneven profiles: very strong in some areas, weaker in others. Many never learn what it feels like to work at something hard.

Does this sound like your child?

  • Finishes work quickly, then switches off.
  • Rushes and makes careless mistakes.
  • Is strong in one subject, but surprisingly weak in another.
  • Becomes frustrated or perfectionist when work gets hard.
  • Is preparing for the 11+ or selective school entry.
How SOI helps bright and gifted children

Support to reach their potential too

Children who learn easily can still have uneven profiles, such as strong reading but weak number sense. Gifted learners may also face perfectionism, impatience or difficulty relating to peers. They deserve support to reach their potential too.

LEAD Soar uses the Structure of Intellect (SOI) approach to find the abilities that are already strong and those that need stretching, then builds them through challenging, engaging activities. What is SOI?

Not 11+ drilling

LEAD Soar builds the reasoning and thinking skills that sit underneath 11+ and selective school tests, rather than drilling practice papers.

Questions about LEAD Soar

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if my child is gifted?

The assessment shows your child’s strengths and any weaker areas. You don’t need a “gifted” label to benefit.

Is this 11+ tutoring?

No. It builds the reasoning and thinking skills that sit underneath 11+ tests, rather than drilling practice papers.

Online or in person?

Both. Sessions run one-to-one in London and online.
